Scene to Story is operated by Eric Deine, creator of Scene to Story. This policy explains what information I collect through scenetostory.com and how I use it.
What I collect
When you join the founding interest list, I collect your first name, email address, your answer about what you create with and the area where you want help.
You may also choose to provide a WhatsApp number.
My hosting, form and security tools may process basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser details, to deliver and protect the website.
How I use your information
- Manage the Scene to Story interest list.
- Contact you with founding-community updates.
- Contact you by WhatsApp if you provide a number and agree to that contact.
- Understand what creators want help with.
- Keep the website and form working securely.
Joining the list does not create an account, charge you, reserve a place or enroll you in anything.
Your choice
Joining the list is optional. You can withdraw your contact permission at any time by contacting deinephotography@gmail.com.
You can also ask to see, correct or delete the personal information I hold about you.
Who helps process the information
I use Hostinger to host the website, WordPress to run it and Forminator to collect and store interest-list submissions in WordPress. These services process information only to provide and protect the site and form.
I do not sell your personal information. I am not using an advertising tracker, CRM or email-marketing service on this launch form.
How long I keep it
Interest-list submissions are set to be deleted automatically after 180 days. Form security records may keep an IP address for up to 7 days and a geolocation record for up to 1 day if one is created.
If you ask me to delete your information earlier, I will do so unless I must retain it for a legal reason.
Cookies and technical records
At launch, I do not intentionally use advertising cookies or advertising pixels. WordPress, Hostinger and the form security tools may use essential cookies and technical records to make the site work and prevent abuse.
If I add analytics, advertising or other non-essential cookies later, I will update this policy and provide any choice required before using them.
International processing
Some service providers may process information in countries outside the one where you live. I use their available privacy and security safeguards when they handle this information.
Security
I take reasonable steps to protect the information you share. No website or online system can promise complete security.
